Black Like Me: An Exploration of the Word Nigger is a multi-sensory hybrid (virtual & live) performance that explores the reverb of a single word in a global community. Comprised of five sections, BLM uses physical, verbal, visual, and sonic sensibilities to consider the effects of the word nigger, its permutations, its history, and its casual use within Hip Hop culture.

Black Like Me is a 50-minute performance in five sequential sections in five distinct environments. These environments are created using multimedia: video projections, historical images, animation, and sound design.
